Ahh, that was easier than shit.

We're going to play a ballot game tonight. I haven't worked out the particulars yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll involve either a token system involving M&Ms or taking shots of something... or both!

Some clarification: I WANT Werner Herzog(Encounters AT The End Of The World) and David Fincher to win, but I sadly know in my heart they will not. I think that's it for my "SHOULD WIN" discrepancies. Also, I figure Australia and HellBoy 2 won't win either and I went with my heart on those, but I picked them anyway cuz they at least have a fighting chance!

I won our office pool, with 20 right! I've never won before, so it was super exciting. (And at the Oscar party we went to on Sunday, I placed second, only losing the tie-break because of the end time I picked).

Anyway, yeah, most of these were sewn up long ago, but there were a few surprises (four, if you ask me, lol) thrown in there. Not so sure how I felt about the ceremony this year, but the jokes the presenters had were pretty funny for once.

I adored the set(so SPARKLY!). The art direction was top notch! And while Hugh was very enthusiastic and I love him dearly, there was no EDGE in last night's show. I know I'm biased but I want Jon back. Or Stephen. I think everyone can agree Stephen would be a great master of ceremonies for any awards show (*clears throat* Emmys *ahem*). Conan proved with the Emmys that he could kick ASS so I wanna see him up there too! Also, I want them to start the show a half hour earlier. They've gotten to holding the ceremonies so early in the year compared to the past, why not hold it earlier in the day?
