Happy Birthday to me!
Jan. 5th, 2009 06:51 pmA pretty uneventful day, really. I went back to work and came home early because it was a professional day. Then I did some yoga and made couscous while watching Dr. Katz.
I had all my birthday fun this weekend while in Gainesville visiting my gay boyfriends and coming home to a wonderful meal at Grandma's Saturday night. Casey and Kris and I went to see Slumdog Millionaire(FINALLY! YAY!), then Casey and Joseph treated me to a fancy dinner at The Paramount restaurant downtown, then a specialty beer at Stubbie's. The next day Joseph made some killer vegan waffles for brunch and we went to the gorgeously Floridian Kanapaha Botanical Garden and had more fun than most people should staring at plants for three hours. It was a great adventure! Then Casey unloaded an embarrassment of Wrigley's gum on me as well as some really nice cigar boxes I plan to paint in the near future. Plus, we have plans for going to the Hoggetown Medieval Faire at the end of the month! Squee!
From my family, I got a lot of Teavana, a lovely scarf, some stuff for my new video camera that I had bought for myself, and the Supernatural Season 2 DVD. Good stuff, all extremely useful and fun :)
*Hugs* for everyone who I got to see over vacation. I love thee so much!
