busby1013Jon, I demand that you demand a Pulitzer(or at least another Peabody or fifteen Emmys) for the nuclear smackdown you just unleashed on the financial networks via this “Brawlstreet” interview Thursday night. Cramer, who is just a proxy for this, was unfortunate enough (but also man enough) to take the beating for CNBC, and I give him credit for facing the earsplitting music you just played for him and all the “financial reporters” out there, but you molded him into a repenting sinner. TDS has been acting as the spitball-throwing “Fifth Estate” for years, but last night, you proved your worth as a classy subspecies of that title, not mischievously subversive but virtuously so. A grateful TV-watching population bows down to you today.
On top of all this, you and the TDS crew have proven wrong all the naysayers claiming that you’d cease being relevant and funny due to the regime change in the White House. The past few months have shown that the change has done just the opposite and in addition, reinvigorated your chutzpah to take the Fourth Estate to task for their schleppitude. Your newly buttressed efforts toward necessitating journalistic ingenuity and integrity feed the deepest reservoir of hope for the public discourse.

PS: In related news, Rob Long of KCRW's Martini Shot(a podcast I've enjoyed for quite a while now) is totally on my DEAD TO ME board. How dare he tweet against Jon Stewart!
