Totally geeking it out this fiscal quarter.
First stop: January 31st Hoggetowne Medieval Faire in the Gainesville, where I will debut my new Renn Faire costume: Caity the Faery. I just finished making my wings yesterday, and since, all told, it cost me around 50 bucks to create them, I'm getting as much mileage as I can out of those suckers. Casey and Joseph and Kris might think I'm nuts, but by the time we get to our second mead, nobody will care.
Second stop: February 28th Megacon Orlando. Yes, I'm bringing the wings, even if I just wear them with otherwise normal clothing. We've all seen much weirder things there, so I won't even turn any heads(unless someone wants to compliment me on how pretty they are). My cousin Jackie and I will be in attendance to see the sights and buy more pretty D&D dice. The Con is at the West building this year, which means we'll be within a closer walking distance of Adobe Gila's for lunch! Ahhh, good memories of Cons past.
Third stop: March 14th or 15th Bay Area Renn Festival. Going all out with the faery costume that day. I'll be the green shamrock faery of St. Patty's with green beer in hand.
Fourth stop: March 21 EyeCon Orlando. This is the big one! I just about gave my cousin Jackie a heart attack when I told her the news that Jared will be there this year, so we're pooling moneys now! No wings for this one, unfortunately, but that's okay... we just wanna see Jared's beautiful ass in person.
